Overview
Our induction meetup was divided into three kinds of session:
1. Session 1 (Free and Open Source Software):
Students were guided through the process of contribution and several programs associated with the process of becoming a regular contributor on Open Source.
2. Session 2 (Web Development):
This session was based on Full stack web development. The Technologies behind Front-end and Back-end Web development like HTML, CSS, JavaScript etc.
3. Session 3 (Selecting your first Programming Language):
The session included basics of C, C++ and Object Oriented Programming along with the overview of languages like java and python as well as the present needs of the industry and the scope of these languages in the future.
Keynote
Sarvesh Jhanwar
Sarvesh is a RedHat Certified Professional with certifications in Linux Virtualization, Sever Security and Hardening and System Administrator and has hands-on experience in trending technologies like AWS, Ansible, DevOps, Docker, Hadoop and has Significant experience in Machine Learning and AI
Arpit Goyal
Arpit is developer with aesthetics. He has worked with Front-end Technologies (JS, CSS3, Bootstrap, SASS, AngularJS, ReactJS) and actively contributed to Product and Design functions. He is currently working as a UX consultant. He had been a part of product revamps, which resulted in a 200% increase in traffic, about 40% more sign-ups each month and smoother UX in just 3 months, including products like WebEngage, Townscript etc.

GirlScript Foundation started it's new chapter in Jaipur with a hope of catering the needs of the industry by providing knowledge about what exactly is needed for the young minds to be industry ready. For this thought to get a kickstart it was necessary to come together and know each other better. To fulfill this purpose we planned a meetup for the beginners in technology to come up and learn something about us. The meetup was a great success, it had people who were actually eager to learn and know who we are and what we wanted to do.
