Github is one of the most important platform for techocrats to share their work with other developers. It is very important for a programmer to have ample knowledge of Github.
With this purpose in mind, GirlScript Jaipur is organising a workshop on *Git and Github* in Manipal University Jaipur. The workshop will help in gathering knowledge about how to make better use of GitHub to get recognised in the coding community and share your hardwork.
GirlScript Foundation has always been a community which encouraged the development of technical mindset in young minds. The Jaipur chapter of GirlScript Foundation was created while keeping this thought in mind. Our third meetup which was held in Manipal University, Jaipur focused on providing students with the basic knowledge of “Git” and “Github”.
The workshop was held successfully with an average number of participants. They were all interested in learning and showed keen interest in gathering the maximum knowledge about the subject. Since some of the students already knew a bit about it and suggested to take up the same workshop along with working on a project. In all, it was a great experience and gave us ideas and improvements that can be done in future workshops and meetups.
